The Pac Tac Minnow 6" is a slim baitfish-style soft plastic built for subtle movement and versatile rigging. It fishes more like a Judy-style bait than a traditional paddle-tail minnow, with a narrow body and long trailing appendages that move naturally without a big tail doing all the work.
One of our favorite ways to fish it is as a chatterbait trailer or bladed jig trailer. The long profile and trailing appendages add movement behind the blade without overpowering the bait, making it a solid option when you want a larger baitfish profile with a more subtle action.
It can also be fished as a soft jerkbait, weightless baitfish presentation, jig trailer, or other finesse-style soft plastic rig depending on how and where you’re fishing it.
Like our Yurchins, the Minnow is made from a specialized PLASTISOL blend. NOT TPE (thermoplastic elastomer).This proprietary blend gives the bait the durability and feel we want while keeping the material consistent across the Pac Tac soft-plastic lineup.
Current colors include Black Ice, Gas Station Sushi, Blue Steel, Diamond, and Mountain Dew. Some are built to mimic natural forage, others because they just looked too good not to pour.
